What made you decide to offer gluten-free options on your menu?
At Coggings & Co we understand how extremely frustrating it can be to find a place that caters for your allergies, however we believe that you shouldn’t miss out on a great experience just because of that! Hence we decided to adapt our menu, as much as possible, to be suitable for gluten allergy sufferers, as well as those with other food allergies.
What are your most popular gluten-free menu items?
We believe that we serve the best burgers in Sussex, however the most popular items really depend on a personal taste and preference.
How do you safeguard against cross-contamination when preparing gluten-free food?
Our chefs are highly trained professionals, who understand the risks involved with food cross contamination, thus all food is handled with the most precision and care when we need to be conscious of allergens. For example, we will always wash our hands, use gloves and extremely clean equipment, and cook items separately where necessary.
Why would winning one of the first Gluten-Free Brighton Awards mean a lot to you?
At Coggings & Co we pride ourselves on building relationships with the local community and we believe in a sustainable and ethical way of doing business.
